Over 1.5 thousand admirers of the cheese arts descended on Griffith Park on a hot summer Saturday. 140 different teams of cheese grillers came out to compete in the 2008 1st 6th Annual Grilled Cheese Invitational. Crowds gathered for the chance to sample some of the gourmet and crazy "Sammiches" with names like "Mudflap Girl'd MADNESS," or "Short Rib and Tallegio Grilled Cheese w/Apricot Caper Puree."!!

05/28/08: That was AMAZING! this was possibly the best L.I.B. in years! This is going to take me a few days to get all the shots together...Here's the first 77 shots, keep checking back for updates :)

great party, fantastic decorations, lots of fire... AND COPS! the lantern festival was all set to be lots of fun, but then got shut down. But before the end, I managed to get at least a few shots of the fun people and some of the decorations... and you've got to see the pic of delmacio ;)
